"The Kindness Connection motivates students to reflect upon their volunteer experiences and inspires them to continue to give back to their community.  Our school has fostered a community of kindness through our TKC partnership."

Personal Connections, Meaningful Experiences

TKC service projects are aligned with the Illinois State Learning Standards and are developed to cultivate the values of service while supporting student achievement in social and emotional learning.  That is one of the many reasons elementary schools throughout the Chicago area utilize The Kindness Connection's convenient service learning projects, curriculum and resources.

Reaching Many Through Kindness

Since 2006, The Kindness Connection has reached 20,000 youth volunteers through 55 schools and organizations, and delivered over 35,000 handmade projects to 40 non-profits around the world.  Additionally, TKC has hosted 14 public events, including its Annual Martin Luther King Service Day, drawing people from 25 communities from the Chicagoland area. TKC has also coordinated several corporate events for organizations like Allstate Insurance, Morningstar, The Boston Consulting Group, CVS Caremark, and Northwestern University.

Congratulations to the 12 schools inducted into TKC's Honor Roll of Kindness!
