Who We Are

The Kindness Connection (TKC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 service-learning organization dedicated to promoting volunteerism by bringing service opportunities to individuals and organizations.

Comprised entirely of volunteers, The Kindness Connection is led by Co-Directors, Lisa Axelrod and Mary Roth. Lisa earned her MBA from Northwestern and has over 10 years experience working in consulting and not-for-profit leadership. Mary formerly taught mathematics at Stevenson High School and co-founded the school's social service program.
