Participants in Kindness Connection events complete fun, meaningful projects including:
• Assembling housewarming gifts for housing assistance recipients
• Repairing and preparing shoes for residents in third world countries
• Packing lunches for homeless shelters
• Creating preschool books for immigrant children learning English
• Decorating placemats to be delivered with meals for the homebound elderly
• Creating blankets and stuffed toys for children in foster care
• Making chew toys for animals in shelters
• Writing notes of gratitude to veterans, fire, police and military personnel
